On the corner of Avenue A and Second Street in the historic Crocker Building, Holy Smokes BBQ Delicatessen has a quaint atmosphere with a mixture of memories from the restaurant days.  Leslie & Papalu will be waiting to serve you and to share a story of the "old times".  You will be happy to remember the flavors of the past and excited to try the new ones!

Our meats are house smoked and our sides are made from scratch.  We work with companies that believe and

practice sustainable farming and treat their animals humanely.  We work with local farms whenever possible bringing you the true taste of the Pioneer Valley.  We house-cure our own bacon and gravlox with many new items soon to come.

We opened Holy Smokes BBQ & Whole Hog House in West Hatfield on April 10, 2004 in a 19th century deconsecrated Lutheran church filled with flying pigs, blues music, mouthwatering smells and laughter.  Sadly, on June 21, 2007, the building was destroyed by fire.

For the summers of 2008 & 2009, our catering made us a part of people's lives, helping to make their celebrations delicious!  We had the opportunity to visit with old friends from the restaurant and make some new friends.  Each event was different, exciting and filled with memories of their own.

New ideas bloomed when we least expected it, moving us forward in different directions, with Lou and Leslie going the way of the Delicatessen and Seth going back into restaurants.  Chef Seth has moved on and is now the happy Co-Owner of Brick Wall Burger, on Main Street in Greenfield, MA.  Stop in and say "hello" to him and enjoy a great burger when you get a chance!  You may even see Leslie & PapaLu running around there.

Since we aren't busy enough, we also have another business.  We media train or prepare folks who are doing interviews on TV, the radio, in the newspaper, doing a presentation, or anything that puts people in front of an audience.  If you are interested, visit AirTyme Corporation's website.
